Welcome to Lauren Nicole Studios, I'm Lauren! I have worked in the photography industry for over 16 years now. My first ten years were heavily focused on weddings, then I took a break and had my children back to back. Now, I primarily photograph families, with the occasional small, intimate wedding here and there. I am a full time mom of two active boys, married to a crazy rocket scientist (just kidding, he is an aerospace engineer turned businessman) and also a mom to two fur babies. Georgia has been home to me for a long time. I moved here as a child and then moved away when I was young adult. After living all over this country, I decided there was no better place for me than Georgia. I live in the suburbs of Atlanta, but travel occasionally for work when needed. I am passionate about making sure you have the best possible portrait experience, and want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible when photographing you. Family is such a beautiful and fragile thing, and I'd love to share my decade long experience in photography with you! I have my bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Photography and Art History from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Over the years I have been asked what my style is and I can firmly say now, it's a mix! As a mom myself, I know how stressful photo sessions can be with little people in tow. So I aim for the traditional images that both Grandma would love to receive as a gift and the fun and carefree images that truly show your child's and family's personalities. I absolutely strive to make sure your session is stress free and fun, the smiles you see are genuine and so are the laughs.
